The Olympus II succeeds the original Olympus as Argos's open-heart dress watch, and it now comes in two sizes: 39mm 'For Him' (48mm lug to lug) and 34mm 'For Her'. Both run a Miyota 82S5 automatic with an open heart at 8 o'clock and small seconds at 6, under a double-domed sapphire crystal, with a fluted bezel and 50m water resistance. There are more than twenty dials, from mother-of-pearl and malachite to sunburst 'Zen' and 'Pyramid' textures, on leather or three-, five- and nine-link bracelets, with an optional lifetime warranty. Prices run from about ₹13,400 to ₹24,000. It is the most affordable way into an Indian-designed open-heart automatic.
