Ebony is the wood India's instrument makers have always reached for — the fingerboards of sitars, the bodies of bansuri holders, the handles of ceremonial objects. Elfen cuts ebony into watch cases. The Acorn Riddle wears a white dial in the panda configuration, the gold markers catching the light against the dark wood. A chronograph at ₹6,999 that no steel-cased watch at this price can replicate.

Elfen is India's first brand dedicated entirely to wooden watches — timepieces where the case, dial, and bracelet are all cut from natural wood. Seven varieties are used across the collection: Mahogany, Ebony, Pine, Oak, Zebra, Walnut, and Sandalwood. Each watch is assembled by India's wood artisans, weighs under 80 grams, and arrives in wooden packaging. For every watch sold, a tree is planted. The watches improve in look and feel over time as the wood takes on the oils of the wearer's skin — a quality no steel or ceramic watch can claim.
