The Story
“The Devanagari script — the alphabet of Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit — rendered as hour markers in two contrasting fonts. Time told in the letters hundreds of millions of Indians think in.
Almost every watch dial in history has used Arabic, Roman, or applied indices. DWC's Devanagari Chronograph puts the script of the subcontinent on the dial — two different Devanagari fonts across the hours, two sub-dials and a date window at 6, driven by the Seiko VK64 meca-quartz movement. A chronograph that reads like a page of Hindi.
