The Story
“A genuine vintage ₹10 postage stamp of Maharana Pratap — the Mewar king who refused Mughal submission — set behind sapphire in a perforated, stamp-shaped rectangular case. Every dial is a different original stamp; no two watches are identical.
Jaipur Watch Company's Stamp Watch line sets genuine vintage Indian postage stamps under sapphire in a case cut to echo a stamp's own perforated edge. This edition carries a ₹10 stamp of Maharana Pratap, the 16th-century Mewar king remembered for refusing to submit to Mughal rule at the Battle of Haldighati — a resistance stance rendered, fittingly, on a watch rather than a coin. A Miyota 6T28 automatic sits underneath, a recent upgrade from the line's earlier quartz calibre. Strictly limited, and genuinely unique piece to piece since every dial is a different original stamp.
