“A real blue 3-pice King George VI postage stamp overprinted for the princely state of Jind, framed under sapphire like a specimen in a collector's album.
Jaipur Watch Company's Stamp Watch uses a real paper postage stamp as its dial, something JWC says no other watch brand had done when it launched the line. Most of the stamps are King George VI issues from 1937–47, many overprinted for the Punjab princely states of Jind and Nabha, which is what this blue 3-pice dial is. The rectangular 34 x 30.2mm steel case is only 7mm thick, with a Swiss Ronda 1062 quartz movement under sapphire. The range runs to more than a dozen stamps in gold and steel cases, on leather or a bracelet, including some later Queen Elizabeth II issues. It is a small, flat dress watch for anyone who grew up with a stamp album.
