The Story
“A faithful recreation of Swami Vivekananda's handwritten 'Blessings to Nivedita', the poem he composed for Sister Nivedita around 1900, on a parchment-toned dial.
Around 1900 Swami Vivekananda wrote 'Blessings to Nivedita', a short poem charging Sister Nivedita with her mission to serve and educate in India. Jaipur Watch Company reproduces the manuscript, in his handwriting, across the whole dial of this 39mm steel watch, with wire-style lugs. It runs a Miyota 8215 automatic behind a peephole caseback, is rated to 5 ATM, and ships with both a leather strap and a mesh bracelet. A ₹35,000 non-automatic version is also listed. It is a devotional object as much as a watch, and very few brands would attempt it.
