The Nilgiri Mountain Railway has been climbing from Mettupalayam to Ooty since 1908 — a rack-and-pinion steam railway through some of India's most dramatic landscapes. Coromandel's Blue Mountain edition captures the particular blue-green of the Nilgiris at dawn, when the mist sits in the valleys and the tea estates appear in relief above it.
