The Story
“A deep-green enamelled dial fractured into an Art Deco mosaic, with a certified 1947 Quarter Rupee tiger coin set off-centre — the walking tiger prowling out of a field of jade shards.
Baagh II reworks the tiger-coin idea into a tonneau case with stepped rails and, for the first time, a coloured enamel dial. This verdant edition splinters deep green into an Art Deco mosaic, with an offset sub-dial for the time and a certified 1947 Quarter Rupee — the same last-of-the-Raj tiger coinage — set proud at six o'clock. A Miyota 6T28 automatic runs beneath. It is JWC loosening its collar: the numismatic seriousness is intact, but the design finally lets itself have some fun.
