The Story
“A genuine vintage 10-rupee postal stamp of Maharana Pratap — the Mewar warrior-king who never bent to Mughal rule — sealed at the centre of the dial. Every watch carries a different original stamp, so no two are the same.
Maharana Pratap is Rajasthan's most enduring symbol of defiance — the Rajput ruler of Mewar who fought Akbar's empire to a standstill rather than submit. Jaipur Watch Company honours him the way it knows best: by setting a genuine vintage 10-rupee stamp bearing his likeness beneath sapphire, on a compact 34mm case running a Miyota 6T28 automatic. This automatic version replaced the brand's earlier Swiss-quartz stamp watches, moving the philatelic idea onto a mechanical heart. Each dial holds a different original stamp — a living archive of Rajput memory, produced in strictly limited numbers.
