The Story
“Made with actual steel salvaged from INS Vikrant — India's first aircraft carrier, decommissioned in 1997. The dial carries the weight of the ship that defined Indian naval power.
INS Vikrant was India's first aircraft carrier — commissioned in 1961, decommissioned in 1997, and broken up at Alang. BWC acquired steel from the ship's hull before it was scrapped. 71 pieces of the Mach 1 Admiral — one for each year of Indian independence at the time of production — use that steel in the case back. A watch made from the Navy.
